Consign With Indigo Closet: Turn Your Treasures into Cash (the Friendly, Fuss-Free Way)

This is a subtitle for your new post

If your wardrobe is brimming with beautiful pieces you no longer wear, let’s give them a second life—and put money back in your pocket. At Indigo Closet, our 50/50 consignment makes it easy to sell quality women’s fashion in a feel-good, sustainable way. You bring the gems; we curate, style, and showcase them in our quirky little shop overlooking Lake Macquarie (10 The Boulevarde, Toronto NSW). When your item sells, you receive 50%—simple as that.

Why Consign With Us?

  • Sustainable style: Keep great labels in circulation and out of landfill.
  • Curated magic: We’re known for an ever-changing selection of preloved treasures in like-new condition.
  • Set-and-forget: We take care of presentation, pricing, promotion, and payment.

What We Accept (We’re Proudly Picky)

We say “no” more than we say “yes” so our racks stay exceptional. Please bring:

  • No fast fashion. We focus on quality labels and timeless pieces.
  • Freshly laundered & odour-free garments only—no smoke or body-odour smells.
  • Excellent condition: no holes, stains, pilling, missing buttons, broken zips, or tired elastic.
  • On-trend or classic styles that our customers love: dresses, tops, jeans, jackets, skirts, and statement pieces.
  • What sells best right now: boho labels, cool natural fabrics (hello, linen!), premium denim, easy throw-on dresses, modern tailoring, and pieces with beautiful texture or interesting detail.

How It Works

  1. Edit & prep: Use the checklist below to pre-select your best pieces.
  2. Drop in: Bring your items to Indigo Closet during shop hours. We’ll review on the spot where possible.
  3. Curation: We select items that suit our customers and current season. (We’re fussy—please don’t be offended if we pass.)
  4. On the floor: Items remain with us until we say so—this helps us present collections cohesively and time them with demand.
  5. You get paid: Payouts are made on the 1st of each month via bank transfer for items sold in the previous period.

Pricing & Split

  • We set prices based on brand, condition, demand, and similar sales.
  • You receive 50% of the sale price; we handle the rest—styling, steaming, merchandising, photography, and selling.
